How to crop a series of images to the same dimensions to create a Collage based on Contact Sheet II in Adobe Photoshop CS3

If you are shooting in JPG make sure that you have set Adobe Photoshop CS3 (or newer) to open JPG’s in Adobe Camera Raw. Next create a Custom crop and enter in the dimensions you require. Eg. I want a contact sheet that is 4 by 4 to print on a page 20 by 20 so I will set the dimensions to 4 by 4 inches. You can change the custom crop to meet your needs.

Next step is to "Open Objects’ and then apply the circle mask to each image that is 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches (or slightly smaller than your custom crop used previously) and then create a Contact Sheet (File>Automate>Contact Sheet II) and select the folder that you saved your cropped images to (eg. Pictures>Squared) and enter in the number of rows and columns for your contact sheet(s). Eg. 4 rows by 4 columns
